This privacy notice for drivers provides information about how Rapidoride Inc.(hereinafter “Rapidoride”, “we”, “us”) processes personal data of persons providing transportation services via the Rapidoride platform, i.e., drivers. The privacy notice describes what data and why we process, how we keep personal data safe and what choices and controls are available to the data subjects (hereinafter also “you”). If you are a driver on the Rapidoride platform, please read this privacy notice as it contains important information about the processing of your personal data as well as information about our requirements when you process passengers’ personal data.
We may process various categories of personal data belonging to drivers, including:
1. General data, such as name, email, phone number, and place of residence, provided to us by the driver.
2. Geolocation data, such as the location of drivers and driving routes, collected via the RapidoRide system when the driver uses the RapidoRide app.
3. Information about vehicles, including registration number and compliance status, provided to us by the driver.
4. Usage data, such as the driver’s engagement and interactions on the marketplace, as well as driver ratings (including Driver Score).
5. Identification/verification data, such as driver’s license, photo, and identity documents.

7. Communication and correspondence records, including interactions with our in-app chat (“Send a Message” option) or conversations with our customer service agents, along with the date, time, and content of the communication.
8. Information required by law for taxation purposes, such as taxpayer identification number, SIN, place of birth, financial account identifier, and details of each Member State where the driver is a resident.
Beyond the mentioned sources, we may also gather and obtain your data from various other channels, including:
1. Fleet partners
2. Service providers responsible for conducting vehicle and driver compliance checks, as well as criminal background checks;
3. Passengers and third parties providing information and content related to the service or concerning potential claims and disputes; and

Processing Objectives
We engage in processing drivers’ personal data for various purposes, with the primary objectives outlined as follows:
– Service Provision: We collect and process personal data to facilitate the connection of passengers with drivers, enhancing city mobility.
– Geolocation Analysis: Geolocation and driving routes are analyzed to provide geographical insights and suggestions to drivers. Should you prefer not to disclose your geolocation to passengers, you must either close the RapidoRide app or indicate offline status within the app.
– Compliance and Suitability Assessment: Driver’s license, professional information, identity documents, and criminal history data are assessed to ensure compliance with legal requirements and suitability for the driver profession.
– Passenger Identification: The RapidoRide app displays driver’s photo, name, and vehicle details to enable passengers to identify the driver and vehicle.
– Driver Performance Evaluation: Summaries from the RapidoRide Driver Portal, including efficiency and ratings, are provided to drivers. These summaries are essential for delivering reliable services to passengers.
– Messaging and Support: Personal data related to in-app messages is processed to deliver service and customer support, resolve disputes, enhance security, and improve products and services through analysis.
– Marketplace Engagement and Ratings: Information regarding driver engagement, interactions on the platform, and ratings (including Driver Score) is collected and utilized to promote user safety, ensure compliance with driver terms, and maintain service quality. Drivers may receive notifications or requests for guidance if their Driver Score falls below a specified threshold, with the possibility of temporary suspension from the RapidoRide platform. Drivers have the right to appeal any suspension decision.
– Legal Claims: All personal data about drivers may be processed for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims.
Sharing Between RapidoRide Users
Riders and Drivers:
– Rider information shared with Driver: We provide the Driver with the Rider’s pickup and destination, location, name, profile photo, rating, Rider statistics, and any additional stops input by the Rider.
– Driver information shared with Rider: Upon acceptance of a ride request, we share the Driver’s name, profile photo, preferred pronouns, rating, real-time location, and vehicle details with the Rider.
Shared Ride Riders: When using a shared ride, each Rider’s name and profile picture are shared for safety purposes.
Rides Requested or Paid For by Others: If someone else requests or pays for your ride, we may share your ride details with them, including your identity, date, time, charge, rating given, region of trip, and pick up and drop off location.
Linked Accounts and Sharing Upon Request: If you’re part of a linked Lyft Family account or request us to share information with trusted contacts, we’ll share your usage information with those parties.
Referral Programs: If you refer someone to RapidoRide, we’ll inform them that you made the referral. Similarly, if you were referred by another user, we may share information about your platform usage with them.
Storage & Protection of Your Information
We keep your data as long as necessary for RapidoRide Platform use, including profile and transactional information for at least seven years. We safeguard your data with reasonable measures, though no method is 100% secure.
Account Deletion
To delete your RapidoRide account, please visit our privacy homepage. Note that in some cases, we may be unable to delete your account due to trust, safety, or fraud issues. When we delete your account, we may retain some information for legitimate business reasons or to meet legal obligations. However, data processed due to legal obligations or overriding legitimate interests may not be deleted upon request.
Tracking Technologies
